You Can’t Trust Monsters
Why the Blue Door Exists
Warning: This contains possible triggering effects about physical child abuse. Reader discretion is advised.
I want to be a time traveling monster.
I want to go back in time and strike fear in a moment of triumph of a cowardly monster.
Where the cowardly monster attacks the naked child who is just trying to shower.
The child that just wants to get a moments peace away from this monster behind the only door that they could lock.
Except the child’s mother didn’t believe it was a monster, but a good man.
A mother who told the monster where all the traps were and gave the passcode to all of the defenses… because it was a uniformed monster and could be trusted.
You don’t trust monsters but children shouldn’t have to become monsters just to survive.
You don’t trust monsters that can lock doors.
The child couldn’t fight monsters because they were told fighting was bad and the monster scared them as they cowered to the coward because everyone chose to see what the monster wore, and not what was under the uniform.
I want to stop that child from becoming a monster.
